Floor speakers are common, but floor speakers with a sky channel are rare, and Klipsch's RP-8060FA is a product that combines the main channel speakers with the sky channel, allowing you to enjoy the heightened sound of the sky channel without the need for construction.

In the main speaker section, RP-8060FA adopts a 1-inch titanium diaphragm tweeter and is equipped with Klipsch's LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) technology to reduce the distortion of the tweeter. The tweeter opens with Klipsch's signature Tractrix rectangular horn, which enhances the tweeter performance and allows you to hear richer details, and gives the RP-8060FA an efficiency of up to 98dB. The woofer uses two 8" ceramic metal cone woofers, which are light in weight but very rigid in texture, with high efficiency and low distortion. The special opening of the reflector hole, located at the back of the cabinet, allows for faster airflow and reduces noise caused by airflow disturbance, helping to recreate clean low frequencies.


The top of the speaker is a Dolby Atmos sky channel speaker, and the RP-8060FA even hides the sky channel in the speaker cabinet, instead of putting an extra piece on top of the speaker like a hat. A 1" LTS titanium tweeter and a 6.5" ceramic metal woofer are projected at a proper angle towards the ceiling in front, so that the sound waves are transmitted to the listening area through reflection, and the listener can feel the sound from the ceiling with height.


For the speaker terminals, the main channel and the sky channel are wired separately. The main speakers are equipped with dual speaker terminals for bi-wire or bi-amp applications. The magnetic screen is easily removable, so if you want clearer and more direct sound, you can choose to remove the screen. The bottom of the speaker is made of cast aluminum, which has lower resonance and cleaner sound than the MDF or ABS plastic bottom plate.
